Description

Five peroxisomes in a liver parenchymal cell are labeled with gold particles for alanine glyoxylate aminotransferase. Several mitochondria are also shown that are unlabeled. Open spaces contained glycogen that was dissolved.

Technical Details

Electron microscopy, immmunocytochemistry on ultra thin section of LRWhite block, after 24 h fixation in buffered formal-calcium, followed by 1h 0.1% glutaraldehyde.
